How to use this tool

Make each asset earn its place

Use distinct benefits, evidence and calls to action across your headlines. Read combinations aloud: assets should make sense together and on their own. Repeating the same idea in several headlines reduces the variety available for testing.

Use the preview as a writing aid

The preview uses your first three headlines and first two descriptions. It does not reproduce every Google placement or predict which assets will appear. Character counts alone cannot validate advertising policies, trademarks, claims, landing pages or Ad Strength.

A worked example

A headline with 31 standard Latin characters is one character over the limit. The checker identifies the exact asset so you can shorten it, while leaving your original copy available to edit.

Common questions

Are double-width characters supported?

Common Chinese, Japanese, Korean and full-width characters count as two in this checker. Emoji, combined characters and dynamic insertion need final validation in Google Ads.

Will passing the checks guarantee approval?

No. This checks basic asset counts, lengths and duplication. Google Ads still reviews the complete ad and destination against its policies.

Is this a Google Ads import file?

The CSV is a copy review worksheet. It lists assets and character counts; it is not an Ads Editor import template.
